My Online Glasses Nightmare: Don't Make My Mistake! 😤
I'm writing this review as a warning to anyone considering buying glasses online. My old pair broke, so I urgently ordered a new one and even paid extra for 3-5 day express shipping. The whole experience was a disaster. It made me feel like they just don't care, leading me to conclude: "Terrible company. Ordered glasses March 30th, paid for express shipping 3-5 because my old glasses broke. Day 5 roles around still in production, day 10 still in production. Day 11 I call to ask for a shipping refund, they seemed like they do it all the time by the way she responded. So i got the 10$ in shipping but these glasses are STILL 6 days out on delivery. Stop giving terrible companies your money let them die out because someone doesnt give a crap about their customers and I will telling all my four eyed friends to never shop here. Terrible terrible terrible. Day 19 or whatever still no glasses!!!" After waiting over a week with no updates, I had no choice but to call and see what was going on.
Customer: Hi, I'm calling about my order. I placed it on March 30th and paid for 3-5 day express shipping. It's now the 11th day and the status is still "in production." I needed these glasses urgently.
CS Rep: I'm very sorry to hear about the delay with your order. Can I have your order number to look into this for you?
Customer: Yes, it's [order number]. This is ridiculous. I paid extra for fast shipping and it's been sitting there for over ten days.
CS Rep: I see your order now, and I sincerely apologize. It is taking longer than our estimate. I completely understand your frustration. I can refund your $10 express shipping fee right now.
Customer: Fine, refund it. But when am I actually going to get my glasses? This is completely unacceptable.
CS Rep: I've just processed that refund for you. It looks like your order is due to be shipped within two business days, and the new delivery estimate is about six days from then. Again, I am truly sorry for the delay.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
