My terrible online shopping experience should serve as a cautionary tale for anyone considering this website. I urgently needed new glasses after my old pair broke, so I placed an order on March 30th and paid extra for 3-5 day express shipping. It's now been 11 days, and my order is still "in production." My direct conclusion about this company is simple: "Terrible company. Ordered glasses March 30th, paid for express shipping 3-5 because my old glasses broke. Day 5 roles around still in production, day 10 still in production." This situation forced me to contact their customer service, seeking answers and a refund for a service they completely failed to provide.
Customer: I placed an order on March 30th and paid for 3-5 day express shipping. It's been 11 days and my order is still stuck in production. This is completely unacceptable.
CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the unexpected delay and the frustration this has caused. Let me pull up your order details. I can see that the production time has indeed exceeded our initial estimate.
Customer: "Exceeded the estimate" is putting it mildly. I paid for an express service I didn't get. I want that shipping fee refunded now.
CS Rep: Of course, I completely understand. I have just processed a full refund for the shipping charge. I can also see your glasses have just shipped, but the new delivery estimate is another six days from now.
