BOGO Promo Nightmare: A Warning About Glitches & Ghastly Customer Service 😤


I'm writing this to warn others about my frustrating experience. I was lured in by a promotion, but the entire process turned into a nightmare that left me feeling cheated and unheard. It compelled me to contact their customer service, hoping for a simple resolution, but my experience can be best summed up by the review I ultimately left: "Dishonest, doesn't honor promos. Makes it impossible to collect offer when the site is full of glitches. No customer Service 24 hours, no agent. Unprofessional. Will NOT return and I do NOT recommend them. This is the responses of what they offered. Return them ( even though their correct style and prescription. ) to RETURN AND REORDER to get the bogo they messed up and admitted. Simple solution? Credit back to my card used. Nah that's too easy. Attached is an upload of our conversation. Will it be printed? I doubt it. Which is not fair to other consumers."

Customer: My BOGO promotion didn't apply because your website glitched. I've been charged for both pairs of glasses. I need this fixed.

CS Rep: I'm sorry to hear about the technical issue with your order. I can see the BOGO promotion you were trying to use.

Customer: Good. So just credit the amount for the second pair back to my card. It's a simple fix for your website's error.

CS Rep: I understand, but I cannot issue a direct credit. Our policy requires you to return both pairs. Once we receive them, you can place a new order and re-apply the promotion correctly.

Customer: You want me to send back perfectly good glasses with the correct prescription, just to order them again? That's insane. Why can't you just fix your own mistake?

CS Rep: I do apologize for the inconvenience, but that is the only process our system allows to resolve this. I can help you start the return process.
