Warning: Unusable Bifocals - My Online Shopping Nightmare 😩
Let me tell you about a terrible online shopping experience I had recently, hoping it serves as a cautionary tale for others. I ordered bifocals online, expecting a straightforward process, but what I received was completely unusable. As I said in my review, the frames are nice enough, but I ordered bifocals and the reading part is placed so high that I can’t see when I wear them. I've ordered many bifocals online from Zenni, in different types of frames, and never had a problem. I’m pretty disappointed, since I'm not able to wear these at all. I felt compelled to reach out to customer service immediately to understand what went wrong and find a resolution.
Customer: Hi, I just received my order for bifocals and I have a major problem. The reading portion is placed so high up in the lens that I literally cannot see anything when I try to wear them. CS Rep: Oh dear, I'm very sorry to hear that. That definitely doesn't sound right. Can I please get your order number so I can look up the details? Customer: Yes, the order number is [Customer provides order number]. I've ordered bifocals online before from other sites without issue, so I'm really confused and frustrated that these are completely unwearable. CS Rep: Thank you for providing that. I see the details here. I apologize again for the inconvenience. We can certainly help resolve this for you. We can offer a remake with corrected measurements or a return for a full refund. What would you prefer?
